Joseph has made alien puppets at home. He makes a movie with Lauren, Alfie and Lucas. The aliens and dinosaurs are saved by the super hero. 'Come on' says the super hero.

The children have created the story animation for their space disaster movie. They have started to make plans for the soundtrack and narration to help tell the story.

We have been researching about space, rockets, astronauts, planets, moons and aliens. The project group want to make a movie where a planet and a moon smash into each other and explode. We have done a test movie to understand how stop-frame animation creates the illusion of movement.

2 children work together in the lab developing a story narrative about a treasured toy from home using found materials.

Children have been discovering creatures in the nursery garden. Staff have offered clay as a way to explore the shapes of these creatures.

When children start at nursery they try out and explore many new experiences and environments in the nursery garden.

Children are researching 'What is beautiful' with digital photography.

This slide show demonstrates the way in which children explored the environment created by the winter weather and the opportunities from the seasonal festival decorations.

As parents and carers are aware children work in our outside area regardless of the weather. It is reaching the time of year which requires children to put on waterproof clothing provided by nursery. We are working together to support children in beginning to have a try at managing their own coats, shoes, over-trousers and wellies whilst encouraging children to help eachother. It would be really helpful if parents/carers at home could encourage children to have a try at managing their own shoes, coats etc this would support children to become independent.
